Shapemaker now supports a wider range of standard and built-up cross-sections, giving you a greater flexibility and accuracy when modelling telecom structures.
Standard profiles
- Equal leg angle (90°)
- Equal leg angle (60°)
- Unequal leg angle
- Circular hollow section (CHS)
- Square hollow section (SHS)
- Rectangular hollow section (RHS)
- Circular solid section (round bar/rod)
Built-up profiles
- Back-to-back equal angles (Type EL)
- Back-to-back unequal angles, long leg connected (Type LL)
- Back-to-back unequal angles, short leg connected (Type SL)
- Star arrangement of equal angles (Type XL)
- Star arrangement of 60° equal angles (Type VX)
- Side-by-side arrangement of 60° equal angles (Type VV)
- Equal angle clamped to circular section (Type OL)
These cross-sections can be used directly in the TowerBuilder to model your towers. For more details on how Shapemaker handles built-up cross-section, read our in-depth article about it.
