Configurable SLS partial factors

You can now configure the Serviceability Limit State (SLS) partial factors used in our structural analysis.

By default, partial factors are still chosen automatically from the selected design standard — for most users this remains ideal and no configuration is needed.

With this update, you now also have the flexibility to override partial factors:

  • Across your organization: define factors per design standard that apply to all sites by default.
  • On specific sites: adjust factors for specific towers where local conditions or requirements differ.

Why it matters

In practice, not every tower operator follows the same design assumptions. Some need to model loads differently to match internal policies, client requirements, or consultancy practices. This update allows you to align calculations with how your organization actually works.

How to configure it?

  • Across your organisation: Contact us and we’ll set it up for you. Otherwise, the default design standard partial factors will continue to apply.
  • On specific sites: Open a site, go to the Advanced settings tab in the Structure page, and update the Load combination partial factors to match your needs.
